FYC - GRAMMY Nominee Rocky Dawuni's "Rise" A Global Call to Action!

"Not many artists embody the spirit of cultural renaissance as profoundly as Rocky Dawuni.
Yet, despite his international accolades, including four Grammy nominations across different categories, he remains one of Ghana’s most understated cultural icons. His deliberate choice to prioritize artistic truth over commercial trends has earned him global recognition and reverence. Beyond the spotlight, Dawuni is a pacesetter with a purpose, using his music as a tool for social transformation, a bridge between cultures, and a platform to elevate African artistry to the world stage. Rocky Dawuni’s “Rise” is nominated in the Best Global Music Performance category at the 67th Grammy® Awards. Produced by FB Da Mastermind (Nicki Minaj, Ariana Grande) and Nabeyin Panford (Travis Scott, Kanye West, SZA, Drake), ‘Rise’ deftly and tastefully blends the vibrancy of Afrobeat and Highlife music with contemporary Hip-Hop undertones - all of which is further brought to life by Rocky’s impassioned vocal performance evoking an air of optimism and assuredness.

The visually stunning video for Rise was filmed by legendary Ghanaian filmmakers Twinsdntbeg. Rise is released by AQUARIAN Records and distributed by Tuff Gong International.

Speaking on the track’s meaning and purpose, Rocky states: “Rise is a call to action for all people to inspire one another through sharing our talent and to keep believing in that spark of divinity that informs our creativity.” A commanding declaration of resilience and empowerment in an increasingly polarized world. Throughout the track, Rocky fervently sings with conviction “Imagine what we could do if we organize? Imagine what we could do if we unify?”
